It would be almost impossible to go through studying English in secondary school without mentioning The Bard, William Shakespeare. William Shakespeare is considered to be the most important figure in English literature; he’s the author of numerous plays and poems but also the also the author of many words and sayings we use in today’s English.
The project called Shakespeare – never – ending story was carried out in class 2D. Students learned about Shakespeare’s life and works; they listened, read and translated his poems; they got familiarized with proverbs and expressions which are used in everyday English and which were first used by Shakespeare in his works. At the final stage of the project students were asked to make posters about Shakespeare and what they learned about him. You can see their works in the gallery below.
